Frontend Engineer – UI Libraries / Design Systems (React +TypeScript)

We are currently seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join the UI Libraries team and drive the adoption of cutting-edge UI technologies across the organization.

About the Team and Role

As a member of the UI Libraries team, you will be responsible for introducing the latest UI technologies and streamlining their adoption across a wide range of business and development teams. You will work on defining, building, and validating the engineering foundations that power internal and external user experiences across the firm.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the company-wide design system and visual language. You will contribute to a React and TypeScript-based component library used in hundreds of projects, helping ensure a consistent user experience across web, desktop, tablet, and mobile applications.

Technologies and Concepts You'll Work With

React, TypeScript, monorepos with Bazel, Node.js, CSS-in-JS, Server-Side Rendering (Next.js, Gatsby), Progressive Web Apps (PWA), and Accessibility (WCAG)

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience building modern, rich web applications

Strong practical knowledge of React (mandatory) and TypeScript

Experience with clean code principles and testing methodologies

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Self-driven, analytical, and eager to explore and adopt new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience working in an Agile, delivery-driven environment

Familiarity with SSR frameworks such as Next.js or Gatsby

Hands-on experience with PWAs, CSS-in-JS, mobile development, and accessible components

Knowledge of frontend build tools and testing frameworks such as Webpack
