Overview
Acting as a technical lead on data visualization projects with a focus on Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform, and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a technical lead on data visualization projects.
- Designing and implementing complex solutions leveraging Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform and Azure.
- Educating junior resources.
- Staying updated on product improvements / releases and collaborating with internal teams to stay current on product developments.
- Participating in the entire solution implementation process – from pre-sales activities, analysis, gathering customer requirements to design and development of reports and dashboards.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 8-10 years in IT industryMinimum 4 years of experience in creating reports and dashboards in the Power BI toolVery good knowledge of DAX, Power Query M, SQL languagesKnowledge about Microsoft FabricKnowledge about data modeling, reports performance tuning, business requirements gathering and translating them to solutionsHands-on experience with different connectivity modes (import, direct, live)Knowledge about PBI workspaces maintenance and administration (Gateways, security, etc.)Knowledge of Microsoft Power PlatformStrong technical knowledge, problem-solving and critical thinkingAbility to translate technical solution advantages into business value for customersEnglish language proficiency is a must, both verbal and writtenExperience in delivering end-to-end dashboards from requirements gathering to design, development, testing and maintenanceAwareness of newest features in Power BIWhat Will Set You Apart
Experiences with direct query mode performance optimization on database, PBI and DAXExperience with CI / CD and version controllingKnowledge of other BI tools (Looker, Tableau)Knowledge of DatabricksGood knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Analysis Services, Tabular Models) or other cloud solutions (Snowflake, GCP, AWS)Knowledge about databases (MS SQL, Oracle or similar)Experience
