What you’ll be doing
- Manual testing of web-based products (UI and API)
- Preparing test data and documentation, making sure everything is kept up to date
- Performing testing activities including requirements analysis, test planning, test-case preparation, test execution and test-closure activities
- Working closely with the Development and Product teams throughout the entire life cycle of product releases
- Extending and improving automation tests
What we expect from you
EssentialAt least two years’ experience as a manual QA EngineerSolid understanding of QA best practices and methodologiesDeep awareness and demonstrable experience of functional testingHands-on experience in manual testing of web-based applicationsExperience of API testing (understanding of REST API concept)The ability to build and maintain test documentationExperience in cross-browser and cross-platform testingAttention to detail and strong analytical thinkingThe ability to juggle a number of things at once and deliver to tight deadlinesA proactive attitude towards solving problemsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsBags of passion and drive, and a genuine desire to make things bigger and betterA positive, team-playing attitude – things only work when we all come togetherDesirableExperience in test automationKnowledge of programming language – TypeScript would be idealAn understanding of web automation tools such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, and API testing tools such as PostmanExperience using CI / CD tools (preferably Jenkins)Familiarity with SQL databasesExperience with modern HTML / CSS and TypeScript – this would be a significant advantageKnowledge of digital image processingPerks you’ll get to enjoy
