Aras invites passionate Software Test Engineer to join the ASF team.

Aras is a software company specializing in the development of Aras Innovator product, with a development center based in Poland.

Aras Innovator is a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform that enables the work with complex products, their components, and associated business processes. It provides end-to-end visibility and control across the entire product lifecycle - from concept and design to manufacturing and maintenance - whether you're building a simple tool or a sophisticated aerospace system.

ASF team specializes in customizing the Aras Innovator to meet specific customer needs. While the core functionality of Innovator covers a wide range of use cases, some customers require unique features that go beyond the standard platform. The ASF team handles these custom requests, delivering tailored solutions that extend Innovator’s capabilities. In addition, the team works on upgrades, cloud migrations, and a variety of other projects.

Requirements :

4+ years of experience in QA.
Experience in testing web applications.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, tools, and best practices.
Experience in creating test documentation (Test Cases, Checklist, Bug reports).
Understanding of databases and data storage principles
Ability to test, analyze, and clarify requirements.
Good understanding of client-server architecture and ability to investigate related issues.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
Intermediate or higher level of English (spoken and written).
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Nice to have :

Experience with Git (basic commands and workflow understanding)

Experience in XML (understanding of syntax and structure)

Experience working with Azure Cloud and SaaS applications.

Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS.

Responsibilities :

Functional / non-functional testing of the web application.

Analysis, testing and clarification of project requirements.

Development and application of a testing strategy, as well as establishment and optimization of testing processes on the project.

Planning, prioritization, decomposition, and evaluation of testing tasks.

Creation and maintenance of test documentation.

Following testing processes, analyzing, and escalating risks, improving existing processes.

Conducting cross-review of manual test cases.

Review of automatic integration tests.

Creation of found defects in the BTS and control of their correction.

Tracking and collection of quality metrics, providing test results.

Participation in Agile ceremonies together with the team (planning, refinement, retrospective, iteration review, daily meeting, etc.).

Preparation and conduct of demo sessions on the implemented functionality.

Collaboration with developers, POs, and other team members to create a high-quality product.
