Position Summary :
SHEIN Global Security and Risk Management (GSRM) is a global security organization that oversees security infrastructure, risk management, data privacy, business fraud, governance, and regulatory compliance across SHEIN's global footprint. It is composed of a team of security professionals, innovators and thought leaders that have decades of global security experience, led large scale transformations , and served in Fortune 500 executive roles.
We are seeking a Corporate Security Investigator who will be responsible for the safety and security of SHEIN personnel, assets, and facilities located across Poland. The Corporate Security Investigator will be responsible for conducting and managing investigations into security incidents, policy violations, fraud, workplace violence, and other matters that may impact the safety, security, and integrity of company operations. This role will support Corporate Security leadership in identifying risks, gathering security intelligence, and providing actionable findings to protect company assets, employees, and reputation.
The ideal candidate has a strong experience in investigations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work discreetly across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, and ambiguous global environment. The Corporate Security Investigator will work closely with Environmental Health and Safety managers, Loss Prevention managers, and security guard forces to ensure a holistic and well-integrated security infrastructure is achieved across warehouses and corporate offices.
The ideal candidate will understand the distinctions between intelligence (information collection and analysis), operations (protective and preventive security measures), and investigations (fact-finding and resolution of incidents) and will be able to operate effectively across all three disciplines.
Core Responsibilities :
- Investigations : Lead and support investigations into fraud, workplace misconduct, policy violations, threats, and other incidents impacting personnel, facilities, or assets. Gather and analyze evidence from multiple sources, conduct interviews, and ensure proper documentation and chain of custody.
- Operations : Partner with Corporate Security Operations to translate investigative and intelligence findings into actionable security measures, including access control adjustments, surveillance improvements, and physical security improvements.
- Intelligence : Collaborate with the Corporate Intelligence Team to collect and assess information relevant to investigations, operational planning, and emerging risks. Leverage open-source intelligence (OSINT), internal data, and vendor reporting to provide context and support case development.
- Lead and mange small disaggregated teams across multiple time zones.
- Write clear and concise investigative reports, including findings, supporting evidence, and recommendations for corrective action.
- Identify trends and patterns in investigative and intelligence data to inform proactive security measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Support insider threat and workplace violence prevention programs by identifying concerning behaviors and escalating appropriately.
- Liaise with HR, Legal, Compliance, EHS, and other cross-functional partners to ensure investigative processes align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and employee safety standards.
- Work closely with local law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and external vendors as needed during investigations.
- Work closely and frequently with security technologies and systems such as security cameras, access controls, intrusion detection systems, and know how to integrate these systems.
- Assist with security awareness and training programs, helping employees and leaders understand investigative processes, reporting channels, and the value of intelligence-informed security practices.
- Support incident response and crisis management activities, providing investigative and intelligence inputs to operational decision-making.
- Responds to unscheduled calls and emergencies as they arise
- Regularly travels to assigned areas within SHEIN's footprint for warehouse / office visits and presentations
- Conduct security-based training for SHEIN employees
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, political science, security management, business or relevant degreeFour (4) years' experience in corporate security, law enforcement, intelligence or related fieldsAble to speak and write in English fluentlyExcellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to prepare concise investigative reportsAbility to manage multiple investigations simultaneouslyAbility to travel internationallyAbility to travel on short / limited notice some of which includes overnight travelCriminal investigative experience; suspect and witness interview experienceValid driver's license and a driving record which reflects no license suspensions or revocationsMay be required to respond to calls after hours and emergencies as neededPreferred :
Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, APP, CPI, CFE, PCI, CTM, etc.)Experience with case management systems, video management systems (VMS), and access control data analysis.Prior experience in a multinational company in retail, e-commerce, or logistics.Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 31000Multilingual skills (English, Mandarin, Spanish, etc.) a plusFamiliar with the intelligence cycleExperience working in a Global Security Operations Center
