The Integrated Manufacturing Engineering (formerly Production Technologies) Department is looking for experienced composite design engineers that are interested in working in a cross-functional environment that is focused on delivering high quality aerospace composite hardware to meet our customer needs and business demands. Within this role you will have the opportunity to support all composite hardware applications across our entire legacy commercial engine fleet, you will work closely with internal and external composite suppliers and the essential cross-functional domestic and global teams that support hardware production.
Typical job functions include, but are not limited to, assessing the quality of new make hardware, supplier process qualification against the critical design functions of our hardware, waste reduction efforts to improve producibility and the quality of hardware, development of breakthrough technologies to improve production of composite hardware through process and / or material developments, etc. This role is critical to the success of GE Aerospace to serve our customers and meet essential business commitments. With a breadth of exposure to the diverse portfolio of GE Aerospace composite applications across the business.
