FTC 18 Months
This role is responsible for driving business performance by providing insights, decision support, and ad‑hoc analysis. It supports and constructively challenges the organization to ensure that business strategies remain aligned with financial objectives. They should own the local planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring that all required data and assumptions are robust and clearly defined.
The role fosters strong two‑way strategic relationships and translates financial information for Sales and Trade Marketing teams, ensuring full business understanding to maximize performance and achieve strategic goals. It also actively seeks opportunities for process automation and simplification.
Principle Accountabilities
- Leading consumer focused business decision making
- Governing the Integrated Business Planning process (financial part)
- Delivering financial insights to inform commercial decisions
- Leading business case evaluation, driving milestone, KPI definition and calculated expectations
- Acting as a strategic partner to market leaders in market discussions
- Identifying risks and opportunities, helping to fully quantified

Financial Performance, Analysis & Planning :
Leads IBP process from financial for the market providing relevant challenge and insights.Leads long term strategic planning, working in collaboration with the Finance Manager.Drives scenario planning and modelling to maximise share, revenue, profit and cash deliveries.Provides reports with greater insight and continuous improvement mindset.Ensures reporting data is of high quality and appropriately structured & governed. Drives for standardised reporting and automation / AI wherever possible, with minimal reliance on excel spreadsheets or single person.Facilitates the budgeting and forecasting process, supporting other functions to own their respective assumptions and enabling them to understand the impact of those assumptions on the local plans.Works with other functions to perform detailed operational planning.Reviews the financial performance reporting for the Market and provides strategic commentary overlays.Oversees, and often delivers, the internal presentations and briefing packs for the local Leadership Team.Accountable for meeting ad hoc requirements, coordinating ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as required by the Cluster / Region / Group leadership.Critical Decisions
Accountable for decisions related to strategic planning, business plan and latest estimates / forecasts, building assumptions and setting the local calendar.Facilitate decisions on target setting for strategic planning, business plan and latest estimates / forecasts, including locally allocating targetsFacilitate decisions on business performance through insights to standard reporting and monthly / quarterly business reviews.Facilitate decisions on financial and investment appraisals for markets through ad-hoc analysis and modellingSkills and Experience Required
Essential
2-4 years of proven experience in finance business partnering / FP&A delivery, gained through smaller / fewer complex organisations and / or with limited categories.Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organisation. Preferably in the FMCG / Tobacco industry.Ability to present data and findings conciselyExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work.Desirable
Experience of stakeholder management at a senior level.Ability to facilitate conversations and drive towards decisions.
