The platform enables researchers to better understand disease mechanisms, identify novel drug targets and biomarkers, uncover drug repositioning opportunities, and design effective drug combination strategies.

Front-End Engineer

We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer who is passionate about building elegant, performant, and reliable user interfaces that support cutting‑edge research and discovery in life sciences.

Role Summary

As a Front-End Engineer at Data4Cure, you will design and implement high‑quality, maintainable, and intuitive web applications that power our Biomedical Intelligence Cloud Platform. You will work closely with other engineers, data scientists, and bioinformaticians to create user experiences that help researchers interact seamlessly with complex biological and clinical data, algorithms, and analytical tools. This role provides the opportunity to grow quickly, take ownership of applications or feature areas, and play a key role in shaping how users experience the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain user interfaces for Data4Cure web applications supporting biomedical data analysis and discovery workflows.
  • Develop interactive components for visualizing biological networks, literature‑based insights, and algorithmic outputs.
  • Collaborate with backend, data, and product teams to design user experiences that simplify complex scientific interactions.
  • Implement efficient query and filtering mechanisms for large datasets.
  • Ensure consistency, responsiveness, and performance across all parts of the platform.
  • Contribute to testing, debugging, and refactoring, improving code quality and maintainability.
  • Stay current with modern front‑end frameworks, libraries, and best practices to continuously improve our development stack.
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions, helping to shape architectural decisions.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent programming experience.
  • Proficiency with Angular (preferred) or similar frameworks (React, Vue.js).
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
  • Experience in building, testing, and deploying production‑quality code.
  • Familiarity with UI / UX principles and best practices in responsive design.
  • Excellent attention to detail and user experience quality.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of state management patterns / libraries (Redux, NgRx) and reactive programming (RxJS).
  • Experience with charting and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Plotly).
  • Understanding of backend frameworks (Django, Flask, Node.js, Ruby on Rails).
  • Familiarity with functional programming concepts.
