Payroll Supervisor with German

For our client - an international company we are looking for candidates for the position of :

Payroll Supervisor (Germany & Austria)

Responsibilities :

Supervise payroll operations in Germany and Austria, ensuring timely payments and compliance with local legislation.

Manage end-to-end payroll processes, prepare reports, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.

Cooperate with external institutions (tax authorities, social security, pension funds, insurance providers).

Lead the payroll team and act as the main point of contact for managers on salary and tax-related matters.

Handle employee inquiries and provide high-quality customer service.

Support HR processes, onboarding and offboarding, including international assignees.

Manage cooperation with payroll service providers and approve monthly payroll and related invoices.

Requirements :

4–6 years of payroll supervisory experience, preferably in an international environment.

Strong knowledge of payroll processes and local tax regulations.

Experience managing payroll for large employee populations (4000+).

Fluency in German and English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, team-oriented mindset.

Advantage : knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Oracle) and experience in implementation projects.
