Snowflake DBA @ Elitmind

At the moment, we are looking for a  Snowflake DBA to join our existing Team at Elitmind .

As an Snowflake DBA You will oversee the administration and management of our Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring its optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will be implementing new Snowflake instances fulfilling Region specific policies and managing Snowflake security.

• Strong understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Expertise in SQL and experience with ETL tools and techniques.
• Expertise in data modeling and data architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud services (i.e. AWS) and how they integrate with Snowflake.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to maintaining high-quality data standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Expertise with Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres in addition to Snowflake.
• Expertise managing Snowflake SSO configuration and access policies.
• Expertise managing Snowflake role hierarchies.

Oversee the administration and management of our Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring its optimal performance, security, and reliability., Design, implement, and monitor data management policies and procedures to ensure data security, accessibility, and availability., Implement new Snowflake instances fulfilling Region specific policies., Manage Snowflake security including roles, permissions, and access controls to protect sensitive data., Keep abreast of new Snowflake features and technologies, advocating for and implementing upgrades and enhancements as appropriate., Cooperate with other Regular and Senior Snowflake DBA's to ensure high workload efficiency., Develop and maintain documentation for database architectures, configurations, and processes.] Requirements : English, ETL, snowflake, Communication skills, SQL Server, matillion, atlan Tools : Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Agile, Scrum.
