JAVA Developer with Quarkus - 3+ months - Remote - Start ASAP

For our international client, we are looking for an experienced JAVA Developer / Engineer with experience in Quarkus.

Your main task is to support the client in the migration of APIs from Mulesoft to JAVA as part of a migration of legacy systems (ESB, monolith) to microservices.

Tasks :

Low level design
Development and migration of APIs from Mulesoft to JAVA
Technical development based on requirements
Building and consuming REST APIs, MicroProfile REST Client or similar

Requirements :

More than 5 years of experience in JAVA Development

Project experience with Core Java version 17 upwards, preferably experience with JAVA 25

Strong project experience with Quarkus

Strong project experience with Apache Kafka

Minimum of 2 years of project experience with event-driven / message-driven architectures

Experience in migrating legacy systems (ESB, monolith) to microservices - preferred

Experience with SQL / Relational Databases - preferably PostgreSQL

Experience with building and consuming REST APIs, MicroProfile REST Client

Experience in the manufacturing industry - preferred

Fluency in English

Project details :

Start : ASAP

Duration : 3 months (+ option to extend)

Workload : 5 days per week

Location : 100% remote (European based only)

Languages : Fluency in English
