SRE Expert / Leader

Depending on your experience, you’ll join as a Senior Engineer , Expert , or Technical Lead , and take ownership of key areas of platform reliability and data operations.

Your Responsibilities

Analyze metrics across production environments and proactively identify inefficiencies, scalability risks, or potential incidents.

Support and improve deployment processes, release workflows, and system observability.

Contribute to performance tuning, capacity planning, and database optimization (SQL & cloud-based systems).

Mentor team members and collaborate on architectural decisions (for senior profiles).

Design and implement tooling for infrastructure health, deployment pipelines, and service reliability.

Participate in research and implementation of new technologies (cloud, messaging systems, NoSQL, etc.).

Take part in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.

Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high service availability.

Lead or contribute to cross-team projects focused on infrastructure modernization and reliability (for lead-level profiles).

What We’re Looking For

We are open to candidates with varied levels of experience, as long as they bring strong technical foundations and a mindset focused on reliability, scalability, and clean engineering.

Requirements (must meet most) :

5+ years of experience in software engineering or SRE roles (8+ for lead level).

Strong programming skills in one or more languages : C#, Java, C++, Python .

Solid understanding of SQL databases (query tuning, indexing, schema design); experience with Microsoft SQL Server or cloud databases (e.g. Azure SQL) is a plus.

Experience with system monitoring and performance tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Wavefront .

Familiarity with modern deployment and infrastructure technologies : CI / CD pipelines , containerization (e.g. Kubernetes) , message brokers (e.g. Kafka) .

Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Comfortable working in production environments and participating in on-call rotations .

Effective communication and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.

Nice to have (a plus, not required) :

Experience with IIS web servers , NoSQL databases , Redis , Elasticsearch .

Previous work in cloud / hybrid environments.

Experience guiding architecture or mentoring other engineers (for lead profiles).
