Technical Business Analyst (Cloud & HPC Migration)

We’re currently supporting a leading global pharmaceutical company in their digital transformation journey. They're looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a high-impact migration project focused on moving standalone applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — with a strong emphasis on High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.

Full-time, long-term contract

Work in US time zone

About the Project

You’ll collaborate closely with a Technical Product Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure business and technical requirements are translated into actionable deliverables. This is a critical role in enabling cloud migration with minimal disruption and maximum value to the business.

This position goes beyond traditional BA work — you’ll help shape processes, clarify complex system interactions, and ensure alignment between business expectations and technical solutions.

What You'll Do

Translate technical goals into structured business requirements

Analyze legacy applications and identify key business rules and integrations

Create detailed specs, user stories, and test scenarios

Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops

Build process flows and visual documentation

Work hand-in-hand with developers, testers, and business partners

Track requirement traceability and support UAT

Support change management and knowledge transfer activities

What You Bring

Must-haves :

3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on software or cloud migration projects

Strong background in documenting complex requirements

Knowledge of cloud concepts (ideally GCP) and modern development environments

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience in agile teams and cross-functional collaboration

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Good understanding of data structures and APIs

Fluent English (C1 level)

Nice-to-haves :

Background in pharma, life sciences, or regulated industries

Familiarity with HPC environments and containerization (Docker / K8s)

Experience with Jira, Confluence, and business process modeling

Exposure to scientific computing or research-heavy systems

Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent
