This role is part of the Business Data Services team within Digital Data Dev Division and will be responsible for different aspects of Data Product development lifecycle activities, including but not limited to Data Production Support, business stakeholders engagement for usage & problem resolutions, quality engineering and platform / data product rollouts, performance stability & reliability.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Technical and functional support for PowerBI based solutions in Azure cloud based production environment
  • Knowledge of data pipelines for in-scope Data platforms leveraging ETL and Business understanding and concepts.
  • Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams spanning engineering, product and reporting to troubleshoot data issues across pivotal pipelines within the data platform.
  • Monitor daily data load process (ETL data pipeline) and work towards the resolution of any issue occuring during process run.
  • Analyze and mitigate risks pertaining to Data solution delivery timelines, quality, stability and performance.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities (as prioritized) for automation and continuous improvement for in-scope products / projects / services across the Digital Data Dev division
  • Take part in efforts to identify root cause and collaborate within IDA team(s) to deliver solutions
  • Provide top class production support and ensure data solutions service level commitments (SLAs) are met or exceeded
  • Demonstrate proactive communication and relationship with Business users and Product teams - Development, Technology, Support and Delivery Teams
  • Execute and guide the execution of tasks to provide quality service to end users through the Incident Management process
  • Work in the “Follow the sun” support model providing cross-team support coverage across Digital Data Dev division responsibilities
  • Grow and maintain data solutions knowledge through documentation
  • Ensure that all policies, standards, and best practices are followed and kept up to date
  • Continually improve the health and performance of data solutions through identifying problems and solutions
  • Work with various teams to implement automated recovery steps, document RCA and / or preventative measures for recurring issues / problems
  • Achieve & maintain highest business customer confidence and net promoter score (NPS)

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills :

  • A minimum of an Undergraduate University Degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience in providing production support for PowerBI based reports
  • Proficiency with SQL and expertise in data analysis using SQL
  • Experience in providing production support for Datawarehousing Solutions / Products
  • Experience with HIVE, ADLS, SQL DW Analytics, Databricks notebook, Data Factory
  • Data engineering background or working experience with ETL, Big data platform (ADLS / Data Bricks)
  • Understanding of DataOps, AGILE methodologies
  • Experience working on Cloud platform and cloud based tools / technologies – preferably Microsoft Azure and associated PaaS / IaaS products.
  • Ability to handle different types of user inquiries and provide guidance and execute on next steps for troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen
  • Demonstrates level of experience / ability to influence, understand business problems in technical terminology
  • Interpersonal skills and relationship building and able to liaise with staff at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications and documentation for data systems
  • Additional certifications such as ITIL, AGILE, etc.
