Tax Advisor

As a Tax Advisor, you will become part of a professional and driven tax team within a multinational entity. The central tax team coordinates all tax operations for the group, together with the local accounting teams and our shared service center in Poland. With 65+ affiliates mainly in EMEA, we are looking to enforce our central tax team with a motivated person who is eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities :

• VAT Analysis :  Conduct thorough VAT analysis of transaction flows, with a focus on chain transactions.
• Advisory Role :   Provide expert advice to business and sales teams on the VAT treatment of sales and purchase flows.
• E-Invoicing & SAP Projects :  Advise and assist in the implementation of e-invoicing solutions and SAP projects, particularly for setting up new entities and plants.
• Legislation Monitoring :  Stay updated with new VAT legislation and ensure timely implementation of changes.
• VAT Compliance :  Approve VAT returns prepared by our Shared Service Center (SSC) to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Audit Leadership :  Lead, coordinate, and follow-up on VAT audits to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.

Cross-Functional Training :  Be part of the tax team in Daikin Europe, covering VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing. You will receive training in all these areas as business cases often span multiple tax.

Qualifications :

Education : A Master’s degree in economics, economic sciences, law and / or taxation

Experience :   3-5 years of work experience in the VAT consultancy department of a Big4 firm.
