JOB DESCRIPTION

Field Service Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Poland . You will be focused on install and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS), based on our Software EBI.

The Field Service Engineer will act as local System Engineer. He / she will deal with high level expert to Support Service Customers, System’s Migration and Upgrades and Software and Hardware troubleshooting. He / she shall be able to provide Preventive Maintenance, repairs and reaction to faults in BMS Systems, HVAC and Security Systems.

This is a field role, up to 80% of the time will be spent travelling to customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customers in the following areas : Krakow, Katowice, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Lodz. May require carrying out site work and international assignments from time to time.

Key requirements

  • Performing remote or on call support (preventive maintenance, repairs, modernizations)
  • Installing control system’s software and hardware, upgrades and migrations.
  • Maintain high level knowledge of Honeywell’s BA systems hardware and software platforms
  • Creating offers for repairs
  • Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvement within service team.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Diploma holder in engineering ( Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation )
  • High knowledge in HVAC, Microsoft Server, Windows applications and AD management
  • High level of Cyber Security awareness (McAfee, Symantec)
  • Proven experience with Cisco Networks and Virtualization (vMware)
  • Good knowledge and experience in hardware assembly process.
  • Knowledge of Polish (fluent) and English language (technical and communication level).
  • Knowledge of Honeywell HBT Systems hardware platforms (as a plus)
