Financial Controller

We are supporting our client, an international company in the medical sector, driving innovation in healthcare, in the search for an experienced Financial Controller . This is a key role within the finance function, with primary responsibility for financial reporting, controlling processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the business. While the core focus is on financial control, the position also offers exposure to ESG-related reporting and cross-functional collaboration in an organization that places growing emphasis on sustainability and transparency.

Key responsibilities :

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management analyses for both local and global stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and support forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Provide financial insights to business leaders and contribute to strategic planning.
• Analyze cost structures, product and project profitability, and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure accurate, reliable financial data.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and complete financial documentation.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization (e.g., HR, Procurement, EHS, Operations) in areas where financial data intersects with ESG requirements.
• Contribute to the integration of selected ESG metrics into financial controlling frameworks (e.g., process transparency, auditability, data integrity).
• Assist with financial inputs to sustainability-related reports and ensure financial alignment with ESG disclosures.
