As a Senior Big Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building innovative data products that help recruiters find the right talent. You will design and implement high-performance applications using Kafka and Spark, while collaborating with cross-functional international teams. Working within the Data Engineering department, your work will help create a more inclusive and efficient recruitment experience for everyone.

Your responsibilities

Build data products that enhance recruitment and promote fair hiring practices

Design and implement high-performance applications using Kafka and Spark

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data engineering solutions

Manage ETL pipelines and data orchestration processes

Continuously improve and scale our data infrastructure to support the global recruitment ecosystem

Qualifications

Your skills and qualifications

Proficiency in coding with Java or Scala

Practical knowledge of Apache Spark and Airflow or other similar orchestration tools

Experience with Kafka (MSK)

Strong knowledge of SQL

Professional experience in Big Data, Data Warehousing, and ETL

Experience with AWS services (e.g., Glue, EMR, ECS with Docker, Redshift, DynamoDB, S3)

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform

Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English (B2+ level)

A passion for data-driven solutions that make a difference
