Payroll Specialist (UK) – Remote (UK or Poland)

Are you an experienced UK payroll professional looking for a short-term project with the potential to extend? We're seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic team on a full-time, home-based contract.

What you'll do :

As a Payroll Specialist, you'll manage the UK payroll for around 300 employees across multiple sites, ensuring accurate and timely processing. You'll work closely with payroll providers, HR teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance with UK payroll regulations, while providing data analysis and reporting to support business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collect, verify, and process payroll data accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and local legislation.
• Verify payroll outputs, reconcile results, and prepare journals for posting.
• Support payroll reporting, including pension contributions and year-end requirements.
• Assist Payroll Team Leader and Payroll Manager with daily operations and projects.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IF functions).
• Maintain payroll procedures and documentation.
