We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Interim Finance Director to lead the finance and administration functions for a growing company in the building and construction sector. This role demands a practical, hands-on approach and a strategic mindset.
Job Description
- Overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and controlling for multiple entities within the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Managing credit control, receivables, and debt collection processes, including handling financial guarantees.
- Verifying financial parameters and preparing comprehensive financial statements, analyses, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Managing finances within the construction and logistics sectors, including oversight of inventory and material stocks.
- Setting intercompany rates and ensuring effective communication and alignment with headquarters.
- Supervising fleet administration and general property management.
- Ensuring seamless collaboration with commercial, operational, and technical departments to support overall business objectives.
- Leading and developing a finance and administration team
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or Head of Finance
- Hands-on approach in fast-paced and dynamic business environments
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, controlling, and effective receivables and debt collection strategies
- Skilled in team management and fostering a positive, productive work environment
What's on Offer
Our Client offers a 6-month interim contract with a strong possibility of extension or transitioning to a permanent position. The office is located in Warsaw, Poland. A company car will be provided.
