Ecommerce Data Analyst works closely with Digital Product Owners and Digital Marketing Team and provides data insights to support them with understanding customer behavior and onsite features performance to secure data driven process for further platform development and digital campaigns improvements.
This role utilizes various data sources (behavioral, transactional, customer related) to understand how customers are engaging with the site and recommends improvements. They also design and create key analysis proactively to bring them to key stakeholders’ attention.
Main responsibilities :
Performs analysis on web data (utilizing GA UI and / or BigQuery) but also existing customer, transactional and marketing data to identify business opportunities and challenges focusing on company performance and customer behavior, develops reporting solutions ;
Provides ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives where problem-solving and / or analytical skills are needed;
Explores new data sources in the context of business processes and suggests data scope and structure to be exposed for further modeling and analysis;
Supports Google Analytics end users in utilizing GA data;
Supports building and executing an A / B testing process;
Continuously develops knowledge, tracks and implements latest trends;
Provides training on web data and reports;
Follows data governance standards;
Complies with IT quality policy;
Qualifications & skills :
Very good working knowledge of Google Analytics (including GA4)
3+ years of experience working as an eCommerce data analyst or in similar role; Graduate of Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or related discipline
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills ;
Working knowledge of Excel
Working knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of BigQuery will be a plus
Hands-on experience with developing dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI);
Experience with Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Clarity is a plus;
Business acumen and strategic understanding;
Curiosity and inquisitiveness are a must;
Great communication and presentation skills
Results-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail (project management experience is a plus);
A team player able to build relationships;
Good interpersonal communication skills;
Fluency in written and spoken English;
