About the Role
For our Client – the global manufacturing company specializing in advanced hydraulic solutions, we are searching for the Candidate (f / m) interested in a position of :
PROJECT MANAGER
The successful Candidate will manage industrial machinery relocation projects, oversee plant expansions and modernization, and ensure successful execution of technical projects across multiple sites in Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the relocation and commissioning of industrial machinery, equipment, and production lines between plants.
- Manage greenfield and brownfield projects, as well as other plant infrastructure initiatives.
- Prepare detailed project schedules, assess technical and logistical risks, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Act as on-site Project Manager, supervising implementation directly at plant locations, often in an expatriate or assignment mode.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including assembly instructions, user and maintenance manuals, bill of materials, and technical analyses for installation, covering mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic aspects.
- Plan machine layouts using CAD software for new or relocated installations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations, including CE certification, and coordinate post-relocation testing and validation of machinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Purchasing, and Controlling, as well as external contractors and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance in mechanical, pneumatic, and automation engineering, and propose process improvements for machinery relocation and production operations.
- Control project budgets and optimize the use of technical and human resources.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, ideally including machinery design, relocation, or commissioning.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Required Skills
Strong technical background in mechanics, automation, and pneumatics.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Catia) and Microsoft Office.Experience in creating technical documentation, assembly instructions, and BOMs.Knowledge of machinery safety standards and certification processes (CE, ISO, etc.).Ability to work with multinational teams, both on-site and remotely.Willingness to travel for project assignments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.Very good command of English.Preferred Skills
