A data-focused innovation unit within a rapidly growing real estate investment group is seeking a Lead AI Data Engineer to drive the evolution of its advanced data platform. This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership, applying machine learning and modern data infrastructure to support investment analysis, property performance, and operational decision-making.

Salary : up to 120,000 USD per year

Location : Remote from Poland

Full-time

Employment Type : B2B Contract

responsibilities :

Lead and mentor a small but growing team of data engineers and analysts

Design a scalable, cloud-native architecture

Build backend systems and pipelines for real-time analytics

Deliver data solutions that support fast, actionable insights

Deploy AI / ML models and integrate them into internal systems

Collaborate with tech and business teams to extract valuable insights

Ensure high data platform reliability and meet internal SLAs

requirements-expected :

5+ years in data engineering with exposure to ML / AI projects

Strong Python skills (ML / data libraries); JS and SQL are a plus

Solid grasp of data architecture, CI / CD, and scalable backend systems

Experience mentoring and leading technical teams

Proven track record of building data pipelines in fast-paced settings

Cloud experience, preferably with GCP and its AI / ML tools

Master’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Data Engineering, CS, or related)
