Your responsibilities

• Building a dedicated engineering team for the development of a medium-voltage distance protection relay
• Full responsibility for driving the product concept, architecture, and implementation
• Ensuring and continuously developing design standards and ensuring high-quality products
• Responsibility for the successful selection, initiation and implementation of platform and product development projects as well as product maintenance of the current product portfolio
• Design and conceptual-processual development of design and engineering workflows
• Liaison between the various stakeholders in product development as well as the main point of contact for key customers and suppliers with regard to the strategic planning of the product range, processes and infrastructures within the business unit
• Project management from the concept phase to series production, including budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, change management, etc.
• Reporting to top management and other stakeholders, including selection and presentation of appropriate KPIs to determine project success and team efficiency
