We are looking for a Solution Architect for a client in the pharmaceutical industry . The architect will be responsible for defining and integrating solutions across the following critical domains :
- Process Automation : Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA systems for core manufacturing processes.
- Building Automation : Building Management Systems (BMS), utilities control, HVAC, and critical environment monitoring.
- Robotics : Industrial robots, collaborative robots (cobots) for manufacturing, logistics, and laboratory applications.
- Fleet Management : Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for material handling and internal logistics.
- Embedded Automation : Integration of automation logic within specialized equipment and machinery.
- Quality Controls : Automation of in-process controls, laboratory information management systems (LIMS) interfaces, and quality data acquisition.
- OT Connectivity : Secure and reliable network architecture for Operational Technology (OT) systems, including UNS concept, Event Driven Architecture (message broker), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Modular Manufacturing : Designing and implementing automation solutions that support flexible, reconfigurable, and scalable manufacturing modules.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale automation projects from concept to commissioning, ideally in greenfield environments.
- Demonstrable experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Deep understanding of common industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet / IP, PROFINET, OPC UA, Modbus TCP / IP, MQTT).
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, DCS, SCADA), HMIs.
- Experience with industrial cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with GxP regulations and validation requirements in a highly regulated industry (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Devices preferred).
- Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Git) applied to industrial automation code.
