Role Summary
Lead the Quality function across the region, drive continuous improvement, ensure quality performance and support the Region Leader in achieving strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the quality function across ITO (Inquiry to Order) to OTR (Order to Remission) execution processes and associated functions such as Tendering, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.
- Support the Region Leader with root‑cause analysis and prioritize key quality topics for escalation.
- Apply lean tools, drive cultural change and lead initiatives to embed a sustainable lean culture and continuous improvement.
- Define the regional quality roadmap, set priorities to maximize process efficiency and project delivery performance, and monitor quality performance to drive improvement plans.
- Ensure “stop the work” attitude where quality, safety or integrity is at risk and facilitate the management of customer claims and complaints.
- Lead and manage the quality function across multiple countries, set standards, embed quality metrics into all activities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Support the region in Hoshin Kanri, Bowler, PSR and action plans to deliver the region strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
University degree.Significant regional or project quality experience in large EPC, grid, HVDC or energy transmission projects.Proven experience in engineering, QA / QC or project execution.Demonstrated leadership and influence skills in matrix organizations with multi‑site responsibility across Europe.Exposure to ISO 9001, Lean / Six Sigma, and customer satisfaction management.Six Sigma Green Belt; strong understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement.Fluent in English; German or Polish an advantage.Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and report KPIs regionally.Ability to analyze and re‑engineer processes, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive performance improvements.Customer‑focused mindset with clear understanding of project delivery, product quality, and full delivery lifecycle.High degree of integrity, accountability, and flexibility to work occasional non‑standard hours.About The Business
