YOUR ROLE

The IT Configuration Management Process Lead is responsible for the management and governance of the CoreOperate’s Configuration Management process. This includes maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring that all configuration items (CIs) are accurately recorded, tracked, and maintained, and overseeing the lifecycle of these items to ensure the integrity and availability of IT services. The IT Configuration Management Process Lead will work closely with change management, service delivery, and RUN teams to ensure that configuration items and their relationships are properly managed and aligned with business objectives.

YOUR PROFILE

Desired experience :

5+ years of experience in IT service management, including 2+ years in configuration management or a related role.

Strong experience managing a CMDB in a complex IT environment.Experience with Configuration Management tools (ServiceNow preferably).

Proven knowledge of ITIL framework, especially around Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM).

Skills : Technical Expertise :

Proficient in CMDB tools and platforms.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including storage, servers, databases, and software applications.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills :

Ability to analyze complex systems and data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Communication and Leadership :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage the configuration management process and team effectively.

ITIL Certification :

ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and automation tools.

Experience in large-scale or global organizations with complex IT infrastructures.
