We serve all of HSBC and its customers.We work in partnership with the Infrastructure Architecture Function to set the vision and roadmap for all technologies across Infrastructure Delivery and to deliver Service designs in support of business IT programmes. We are seeking an experienced Windows System Specialist who will be working in Distributed Compute Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of windows servers. You will work closely with other IT departments and Application owners to ensure that our windows solutions meet the requirements for availability, security, and performance. What you’ll do

• Setup, Configuration & Support for the hardware and software of a highly available Windows Server infrastructure
• Planning, conception and implementation in case of maintenance activities
• Performance and capacity management
• Analyse, support and advice in business / project demands (Demand Management)
• Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered platform services
• Troubleshooting and vendor management in case of error in the environment and functionality
• Create documentation for the team which is helpful to do the job
• Work on incident & problem management, permanent issue fix and production support
• Develop automation capabilites to reduce infrastructure complexity and manual effort
• Collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders and IT teams
• Remediation of Security vulnerabilities
