We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Consolidation Manager to support one of our clients. This role will combine consolidation and controlling functions across multiple markets, with a focus on financial reporting and business partnering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial consolidation, a strong understanding of IFRS or US GAAP , and a proven ability to work effectively with senior business leaders to drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the consolidation process for multiple markets, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in line with IFRS or US GAAP standards.
Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial reports, including the balance sheet , income statement , and cash flow statement , ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with local finance teams to ensure the consistent application of accounting policies across regions and to address consolidation-related issues.
Partner with business leaders across markets to provide financial insights , drive performance analysis, and identify trends that support strategic decision-making.
Provide ongoing financial advice and guidance as a trusted finance business partner , helping to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations , eliminations, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Support the audit process, preparing necessary documentation and working closely with external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of consolidated results to senior stakeholders.
Continuously assess and improve consolidation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Act as a key point of contact for all consolidation-related inquiries and issues, ensuring smooth communication between finance teams and business units.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA , ACCA , or similar professional qualification is highly desirable.

At least 5 years of experience in financial consolidation or controlling, with a focus on multi-market environments, ideally in a multinational company.

Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP , with hands-on experience in applying these standards in a consolidation context.

Experience in finance business partnering , with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to senior business leaders and support strategic decision-making.

Proficiency in financial reporting and consolidation software (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar tools).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working with global corporate clients or in a client-facing role.

Exposure to merger & acquisition (M&A) processes or cross-border transactions.

Knowledge of automated consolidation tools and financial system integrations.
