Technical Consultant @ SquareOne

In preparation for a large-scale data center migration involving multiple servers and firewalls, an experienced Project Lead is required. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end coordination, planning, and execution oversight of all migration-related activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level standards and timelines.

• Deep understanding of LAN / WAN, VLANs, routing, and switching
• Experience with network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices
• Configuration and migration of firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point)
• Knowledge of security policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec, SSL), and access control lists
• Ability to design and implement secure network architectures
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Understanding of storage systems (SAN, NAS) and data replication
• Experience with server platforms (Windows / Linux), clustering, and load balancing
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud migrations
• Knowledge of hybrid architecture and cloud networking (VPCs, security groups, etc.)
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
