Key responsibilities of a consultant

As a Consultant, you will support workstreams on monetization projects for clients in SaaS, Software, Telecommunications, and e-commerce sectors, with contributions including :

Workstream Coordination : Managing workstreams as a team leader or key team member, coordinating tasks, and applying project management skills to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Thought Leadership Contribution : Actively contributing to high-quality content on monetization and pricing, such as practice documents, whitepapers, articles, webinars, and presentations, strengthening Valueships' position in the market.

Insightful Analysis : Designing, executing, and presenting analyses that reveal critical insights, supporting recommendations on pricing, value creation, and strategic approaches.

Client Relationship Management : Ensuring client alignment and satisfaction through ownership of daily interactions, data presentations, and collaborative work. Working with the team to deliver well-crafted presentations that articulate insights, strategic recommendations, and a strong case for change to executive stakeholders.

Impact & Risk Modeling : Collaborating with the data team to develop models that project the impact of recommendations and assess potential risks, ensuring robust and data-informed client decisions.

Brand Advocacy : Championing the power and impact of strategic pricing, promoting the value-added by our projects to enhance Valueships’ brand reputation.

This role allows you to leverage your strategic skills, work closely with senior executives, and drive impactful pricing strategies that contribute to the success of our clients and the Valueships brand.

We are searching for analytically curious problem solvers and client leaders who are enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to acquire new skills. Beyond the typical skillset expected of consultants, we are interested in individuals with a genuine creative flair. You may have a background in science or business, but at heart, you are a bit of an artist.

Requirements

A master's degree; we're okay with a bachelor's for more junior roles, but we love people engaging in scientific work or pursuing postgraduate titles;

3-5 years of relevant consulting experience would be great;

Enthusiasm for pricing and monetization is essential; direct professional experience or training in pricing is a valuable asset; in other words, we will teach you pricing on more junior roles and reward you well if you already know the domain;

Experience working with clients or entities characterized by highly technology-driven processes (e.g., SaaS, e-commerce, digital agencies);

Being a great team player - if you’re the kind of individualist who wants to grab all the credit and operates like a lone wolf, you won’t be a good fit for our team - at Valueships, we need people who understand the added value of teamwork;

Able to meet travel requirements (only for a particular purpose); we usually don't do travel and work remotely;

We need people with fluency in English (absolute minimum is B2) and Polish.

Quick-Thinking & Agility : Adaptability to solve problems dynamically, both within the team and in collaboration with clients, to address evolving project needs.

Broad Business Acumen : Understanding of business fundamentals beyond pricing, with awareness of how pricing strategies intersect with other business areas.

Technical Proficiency : Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in data visualization and analytics tools like PowerBI and Tableau.

What do we offer?

➡️ Salary based on experience :

Senior Consultant UoP 12 000 zł - 22 000 zł gross;

Senior Consultant B2B 15 000 zł - 25 000 zł net;

➡️ Salary consists of a base and performance-based bonuses.

➡️ For those who successfully expand project scopes, we offer a commission plan as a way to acknowledge the added value brought to our client relationships,

➡️ Flexible choice of employment form - employment contract or B2B contract;

➡️ We work primarily remotely , but we happen to organize an office day at our headquarters in Wrocław and our office space in Warsaw - you decide what is better for you;

➡️ We take care of the development of our team members ; if you are interested in a course or postgrad studies, Valueships will support you financially;

➡️ Possibility to participate and give speeches on Industry Conferences suited for your interests;

➡️ 2-3 days of on-site onboarding to introduce you to the company and give you a chance to get to know us better (cost will be covered on our end);

Recruitment Process :

Screening Call. We’ll get to know you as a candidate for the Consultant position. We’ll ask about your general experience and core skills while also giving you the opportunity to learn more about Valueships.

Craftmanship Call. In this step, you’ll meet one of our partners to talk about your motivation, analytical and consulting skills.

Recruitment task and presentation call. We’d like you to tackle a problem similar to the ones we face in our day-to-day work and show us how you handle it from start to finish.

Hype Call. You’ll be asked about a vision of yourself within our organisation.
