About the Role

We are looking for an experienced  SAP FI / CO Consultant  to join a dynamic support and solution delivery team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of SAP financial and controlling modules, particularly within the S / 4HANA environment. You'll work on complex issue resolution, support ongoing system improvements, and drive enhancements that align with customer needs.

This position requires both technical proficiency and strong communication skills, as you'll interface directly with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity and service excellence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• University degree in IT, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Knowledge of the SAP F2R-FI and F2R-CO processes.
• Practical experience in configuring and supporting General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and controlling structures.
• Exposure to SAP Project System (PS) processes, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Familiarity with SAP TRM (Treasury and Risk Management) is highly valued.
• Experience with SAP S / 4HANA (preferably on-premise, version 2020 or later).
• Understanding of group reporting and consolidated financial statements is a plus.
• Comfortable working with integrated third-party systems in finance-related workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex issue resolution.
• Ability to manage relationships and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ITSM / ticketing systems and ITIL-based service management practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several priorities in parallel.
• Proactive in learning and adapting to evolving SAP technologies.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a bonus.
• SAP certification in relevant modules would be an advantage.

Provide advanced (2nd & 3rd level) support for SAP FI / CO-related issues in S / 4HANA environments. , Analyze business-critical incidents and carry out root cause analysis to design robust, scalable solutions. , Work closely with first-line support teams and technical experts to ensure rapid issue resolution. , Configure key FI / CO components such as General Ledger, AP / AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and internal orders. , Support customer-specific solutions and integrations with external systems. , Handle functionalities within SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and assist with Project System (PS) processes as needed. , Contribute to improvements by identifying recurring issues and recommending corrective actions or enhancements. , Execute minor projects and change requests, ensuring they are delivered in line with business expectations. , Maintain high-quality documentation for solutions, changes, and support processes. , Stay aligned with best practices and ensure system compliance with internal and external standards. ] Requirements : SAP, Communication skills, AR, Accounting, risk management, Degree, Analytical skills
