The role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer in Food Systems, you will define and implement scalable technical solutions for complex business problems. You will drive key initiatives, working closely with stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a global solution that works seamlessly across all markets. Your work will ensure a clear architecture with well-defined boundaries, enabling team autonomy and efficient operations worldwide.

What you’ll do

• Work in a cross-functional team, typically 6-8 people, using various technologies and frameworks with a strong focus on ReactJS / Redux. Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of the services you will develop using DevOps practices, pair programming, and other cutting-edge methodologies
• Be an active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams collaborating with Product Owners, Front-end and Back-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams
• Having an in-depth understanding of HelloFresh’s core product and architecture and acting as an ambassador for software solutions, offering support and mentorship to colleagues
• Solve software problems that have visible risks, roadblocks, and constraints. Examples might include legacy dependencies, data quality, compliance, and architecture or technology limitations
