About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Ontologist to join our global Data Semantics team and play a key role in shaping the future of our Data & AI Strategy. This initiative focuses on building and orchestrating ontologies to support a unified Data Language across the organization, enabling smarter decision-making and driving innovation.

As a Senior Ontologist, you will lead the design and integration of upper-level ontologies based on W3C open standards. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to align data models across diverse business domains, ensuring consistency and usability of semantic structures across the enterprise.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ontology development and semantic data modeling

• Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders across different levels and functions
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with AI / ML concepts is a plus
• Additional experience in Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain is a strong advantage
