This architecture role comprises a combination of both technical and soft skills. Your contribution will be pivotal in helping customers transforming their IT estate with Oracle cloud. Engaging with customers to understand their business drivers as well as current technical challenges, designing large-scale strategic architectures.

Architectural skills and experience are clearly important aspects to this role. These include;

• a good general understanding of cloud architecture and hybrid on premise / cloud designs
• strong architectural understanding of all technical aspects of a cloud solution including networking, security, resilience and connectivity
• excellent communication and presentation skills with high degree of comfort speaking across all levels of management (. IT management, Architects, administrators and executives)
• strong collaboration skills and the ability to build virtual teams to deliver broad-based architecture deliverables
• Experience in engaging and influencing senior leaders
• Strong industry background – for example Banking or Telco experience.

In addition, a number of technical skills will also be needed.

Reporting directly to regional Field CTO, you will lead the architectural definition for transformational platform based cloud adoption including :

You will be supported by a highly collaborative team that includes solutioning specialists. You will have the opportunity design the solution architecture, map it to Oracle cloud services, define a target deployment architecture that delivers a best practice solution for the customer, define a migration path and ensure that the architecture adapts to the customer journey.
