Manage the customer accounts related to current business and in the specific assure respect of contracts, pricing and terms and condition. Build strategies to conquer new programs, achieving profitable growth and define long range plan business outlook in terms of volume and pricing. Support plants communication with customers and facilitate activities to guarantee on time deliveries and payments.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining customer intimacy
- Develop proactive plans, follow up on new business opportunities (NBO) to achieve sales targets
- Supporting strategic and commercial evaluation of new projects
- Preparation of quotation letters and price negotiations with customer
- Negotiation of project and client-specific contract terms and conditions
- Customer forecast and long-term planning
- Support tracking the project financial situation and recovery if required
- Global coordination of customer issues if applicable
- Contract review in collaboration with the legal department to comply with BorgWarner policies.
- Monitoring of market dynamics, including customer and competition development
Qualifications
Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration with a strong technical understandingSkills
Confident use of Microsoft Office productsSAP R / 3 knowledge is an advantageFluent in EnglishGeneral willingness to travel (approx. 10%)Experience
