Your responsibilities

• VAT Analysis : Conduct thorough VAT analysis of transaction flows, with a focus on chain transactions.
• Advisory Role : Provide expert advice to business and sales teams on the VAT treatment of sales and purchase flows.
• E-Invoicing & SAP Projects : Advise and assist in the implementation of e-invoicing solutions and SAP projects, particularly for setting up new entities and plants.
• Legislation Monitoring : Stay updated with new VAT legislation and ensure timely implementation of changes.
• VAT Compliance : Approve VAT returns prepared by our Shared Service Center (SSC) to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Audit Leadership : Lead, coordinate, and follow-up on VAT audits to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.
• Cross-Functional Training : Be part of the tax team in Daikin Europe, covering VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing. You will receive training in all these areas as business cases often span multiple tax.
