PLAN A is one of the strategic Aviva Group's projects , aiming to reduce number of data platform, simplify reporting processes and limit number of models. One of key points in this project is the analysis of the currently used models and their transition into more efficient solutions.
The analysis and development team focuses on providing solutions for UK With-Profit business.
What will you be doing?
As a part of the analysis and development team, you will be :
Supporting team working for UK Life insurance market, with main focus on With-Profit products.
Performing policy data validation and analysis for data generated by the different policy systems.
Performing analysis for various With-Profit products, funds, including creating business recommendations.
Providing actuarial modelling solutions for various products, funds and entities.
Control and validation of the provided solutions, accordingly to the regulator or Group’s requirements.
Verification of the provided data, accordingly to the control and audit requirements.
Creation and development of the tools that support actuarial reporting.
Creation and development of the actuarial reporting documentation.
What we're looking for?
Minimum 1 year of experience in actuarial department
Good knowledge of life insurance products
Good knowledge of at least one programming language (R, VBA, Python)
Good Excel knowledge
Good English language skills (working with English-speaking clients plus creating basic documentation in English)
Knowledge of Prophet Professional would be an asset, but not essential
Knowledge of Solvency II / IFRS17 metrics would be an asset
