Your career opportunity HSBC’s Cybersecurity function is responsible for enabling businesses and functions to manage their Information and Cybersecurity risks as well as ensuring risk and controls are assessed and implemented appropriately, objectively and independently through professional and specialised subject matter experts.Governance and Reporting Analysts work alongside the Governance and Delivery Lead to enable Offensive Security and HSBC businesses to maintain an effective and robust cybersecurity control environment. What you’ll do

• Provide observation and independent reporting on Offensive Security activities undertaken by the global SME teams, and ensure related controls are maintained.
• Ensure that Offensive Security activities are undertaken to appropriate standards of behaviour and in compliance with the standards set by HSBC.
• Ensure Critical Important Functions for each region are properly covered as part of periodic review.
• Plan and perform oversight review and controls assessments, and review related process and procedures in accordance to global standards.
• Contribute to the reduction of risk through escalation and reporting.
• Maintain contact with relevant internal global and teams / forums, specialist interest groups and provide top down information to local cyber peers on controls.
• Provide top-down information to the cyber leads on the potential changes in the controls design and related governance that can impact local countries.
• Help country leads in case of issue with key controls metrics (KCIs) requiring changes / support from the global cyber teams, working proactively to drive continuous improvement.
