Job description

As part of this exciting journey, we are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst who will play a key role in shaping credit risk practices and contributing to the growth of our operations from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Risk Assessment & Portfolio Analysis

  • Independently assess credit proposals and provide opinions for the Credit Committee.
  • Perform financial and non-financial analysis of borrowers and counterparties.
  • Conduct credit reviews, stress tests, and support in internal model development and validation.
  • Prepare early warning indicators and monitor risk trends across sectors and regions.
  • Contribute to shaping internal credit risk policies and underwriting standards.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure alignment with internal risk frameworks and external regulatory requirements (KNF, EBA, Basel).
  • Support the development of internal credit processes and reporting procedures as the bank prepares to launch full operations
  • New banking structure in PLSME Risk

    Ideal Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, ideally within SME lending or corporate banking.
  • Solid understanding of CRR / CRD, Basel III, and Polish regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Fluency in Polish and English (min. B2 level).
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are a strong asset.
  • A proactive mindset, curiosity, and readiness to work in a startup-like, cross-cultural environment.
