Summary of our opportunity

The Compliance team consists of 21 employees, situated across London, Warsaw, Luxembourg, Singapore and the US. As a small team supporting a unique group, roles are varied, often challenging and cover a broad range of regulation and all jurisdictions in which the Group operates. Collectively the team support 10 regulated entities offering investment management and advisory services from five core jurisdictions. Our private funds include Mezzanine and Equity, Credit, Senior Debt, Real Estate and Secondaries and are marketed into 30+ jurisdictions.

As part of this team you will assist with Compliance Monitoring and Assurance activities across Compliance, including assisting with building the ICG Compliance Monitoring Framework across ICG. Fundamental to this role is the ability to pro-actively manage the Monitoring and Assurance Tasks framework, seeking updates, chasing for completion of tasks and being responsible for the Compliance Monitoring MI across all regions of ICG. This would suit someone who wants to move away from the cycle of conducting Monitoring tests and move towards a more management / oversight role and who has the vision to see how this can be achieved.

Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) :

Assisting the Head of Group Compliance with the management of Compliance Monitoring and with the development of the Monitoring Model at ICG (including routine monitoring, thematic reviews and ad hoc monitoring tests)

Oversee and manage the execution of the Monitoring plan

Conduct monitoring tests where required but this is expected to be limited to a limited number of tests.

Generate comprehensive reports on Monitoring findings and promptly communicate them to the Compliance Management or to the relevant stakeholder.

Management of the Monitoring issues log, tracking these to completion

Regular Management Information production.

Undertake Compliance Assurance checks on the work of the Central Compliance Team

Key Requirements / Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of :

Experience working in an Investment / Wholesale Bank, PE & Asset Managers with €1bn + AUM or Leveraged Finance organisation.

4+ years compliance experience.

Monitoring experience required

Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin or suitable relevant experience in lieu of qualifications
