About the team and the role
As a Group Controller you will be working in Syncron Global Finance Team based in Warsaw. It is a unique opportunity to join fast growing SaaS company . Group Controller is an independent role in Controlling / Financial Planning functions, reporting primarily to VP Controlling. You will have an excellent possibility to join a growing company, in which you will have direct impact on business decisions & will be given the possibility to build new analysis / reports / dashboards / processes (with various technologies).
Your daily tasks will focus on rigorous quantitative analysis for management accounting (financial accounting, budgeting, headcount-related and other financial and non-financial data) , in collaboration within the FP&A team and senior management .
In that role, you will be working closely with VP Controlling , as well as be the business partner to senior management, in particular 2 to 3 members of the Extended Group Management Team.
What would you do?
Partnering with the global senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectivesProviding financial and non-financial analysis and insight to support decision-making and drive performance in specific areas of the businessIdentifying and managing risks, and ensuring transparency in financial reportingSupporting the budgeting and forecasting process, and providing insight into the financial health of the companySupporting strategic initiatives with topline or bottom line impactBuilding and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and suppliersBuilding and implementing processes, reports and systems to ensure timely and accurate financial and non-financial reporting and transparencyWhat we expect :
A minimum of 4 years of experience in controlling / FP&A, with experience in a business partnering or consulting roleFluency in EnglishProven experience in providing financial analysis and insight to support decision-making in a business settingStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersAbility to work closely with senior management and support them with their respective areasA bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, physics, or mathematics, computer science, or related fieldsThe icing on the cake :
Proven experience in building and implementing financial processes, reports to ensure accurate financial reporting and transparencyProven experience in working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionA strong understanding of SaaS business models and financial metricsPrevious experience with using and implementing BI toolsCIMA / ACCA or equivalent certificationWe offer :
