What The Day Will Look Like

• Serve as subject matter expert on complex accounting topics
• Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards, assess impact and guide implementation strategies
• Ensure successful deployment and administration of finance systems tools (account reconciliation, month end checklist, issue tracking and remediation) to finance and supported country
• Provide accounting guidance
• Check work from other team members, including regular spot checks to ensure quality is high
• Produce, analyze and share metrics and reports that describe the productivity and quality of the team's work
• Install controls such that it can be proactively ensured that all tasks are completed on time
• Design and maintain improvements for accounting workflows
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation for technical accounting processes and controls
• Support compliance
• Communicate technical accounting policy changes
