Ocean Logistics Specialist

Job description

We are currently looking for :

Location :

Preferable : Poland (Gdańsk / Gdynia / Kraków / Bydgoszcz), but we are flexible and will consider other EU locations where CANPACK has presence

Main responsibilities :

Preparation of RFQs
Freight analysis and reporting
Ordering Multi-modal Transportation
Reviewing the cost, processing invoices and related data on SAP and TMS
Monitoring and following up with Forwarders, Carriers and ensuring shipments are on time
Conducting the qualification and assessment process of external service providers,
Addressing complaints and claims if any
Be aware and report changes or trends on transport market cooperation with the Investment, Purchase, Sales, Customs and warehouses within the scope of delegated duties.

Requirements :

Professional experience in ocean freight is preferred

Fluency in written and verbal English (min. B1 / B2 )

University degree (Logistics, Commerce or Economics preferred but not mandatory)

Good command of MS Office

Knowledge of MS Power BI will be an advantage

Good planning and organizing skills

Ability to meet strict deadlines and excel under pressure

Knowledge of the Transporeon TMS system and SAP would be an advantage
