Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. We are currently looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Kraków office. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be the key quality contact in software testing activities across our medical device development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute test plans that ensure the performance, reliability, and compliance of our software solutions.
You will report directly to the SQA Testing Team Lead.
Responsibilities :
- Design and execute manual tests for web, mobile, PC, and embedded applications
- Review software requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios
- Perform UI and API testing , including regression testing
- Track and analyze bugs, identify trends, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality needs and support project delivery
- Maintain test documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory standards
- Ensure traceability between requirements and tests throughout the software development lifecycle
Your profile :
Strong understanding of testing strategies (unit, integration, system, performance, stress)Experience with API and SQL testingFamiliarity with tools such as Postman, Selenium, Playwright, or similar – a plusExperience working with traceability matrices in SDLC environmentsKnowledge of IEC 62304 and medical device regulations – an advantageExperience working in both Agile / Scrum and Waterfall development environmentsStrong documentation skills and experience working under document control systemsExcellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal)Excellent Documentation Skills and experience operating under Document ControlFast learner, detail-oriented, and proactive team playerKnowledge of test automation – a strong advantageBenefits :
