Actuarial Consultant

Miejsce pracy : Gdańsk

Your responsibilities

  • understanding the financial reporting systems and dependencies between them, in order to derive appropriate business requirements and prepare business test cases
  • collaborating in international environment in the team (actuarial and IT team members), between teams, and product owner, in an agile framework
  • providing expertise and support for Clients / Partners
  • performing analysis of data and results
  • implementing business analysis tools for support of analysis of results
  • participating in meetings, contacting Clients / Partners (e.g. workshops and project meetings, trainings)
  • performing other tasks entrusted by superiors, within the scope of the position, and possessed competences
  • creating other works within the meaning of the Law of Copyright and Related Rights resulting from the performance of the entrusted tasks, as long as they are consistent with the type of work and applicable law

Our requirements

  • advanced level of English (C1)
  • University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Technical faculty of IT, Economics or Financial
  • experience in working on a similar actuarial position in the area of Life Insurance / Health Insurance
  • professional experience in working with project teams
  • experience in insurance and actuarial field
  • knowledge of actuarial results analysis
  • knowledge of financial reporting standards e.g. Solvency II, or IFRS17
  • ability to build relations with Customers
  • good presentation skills
  • ability to think analytically
  • ability to work in a team

    • Optional

  • professional experience in implementation of business analysis tools
  • professional experience in working in international framework
  • knowledge of MS Office and programming languages used for statistical analysis e.g. SAS EG, R, VBA
  • in progress of passing actuarial exams

    In this role you will be supporting financial and actuarial reporting for Clients / Partners. Improving reporting processes and supporting data and results analysis for Clients / Partners.
