About the team :

The Website & eCommerce team develop and maintain the website factory running approx. 140 websites of Arval. These currently run on 2 CMS (Drupal and Wordpress) and we will shift in 2026 to one CMS (Drupal). The team is currently spread over 3 countries (NL, France and India). We aim to bring all development and DevOps activities to a new team Poland. This new team will be tasked with :

Running and phasing out the existing public website platform (monolith Drupal)
Running and phasing out the existing eCommerce platform (Wordpress)
Designing and developing the new Arval Website factory platform (multisite Drupal)
Supporting the transition from the existing platforms to this new platform

To ensure close alignment with the corporate stakeholders, the IT PO and UX / UI design roles will not move to Poland.

Responsibility :

Develop and maintain custom CMS Modules / Plugings and integrations

Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Work closely with front‑end designers and developers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation

Ensure content is easily editable by non-technical staff

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Stay up‑to‑date on emerging technologies

Technical skills :

CMS : Drupal 11 (multisite, Multilingual, Multi-domain, configuration split, paragraphs, RESTful, JSON : API, GraphQL) and Wordpress (GraphQL, Rest, Multilingual, Custom Plugins)

Frontend : React.js, Next.js (SSG / SSR, i18n, performance optimization)

APIs : REST, GraphQL

Testing : PHPUnit

Tooling : Jira, Git, Figma, Confluence

Competences :

Proven experience as a CMS development with strong expertise in both Drupal and Wordpress

Deep understanding of Drupal (Custom Modules, Multisite, Multilingual, RESTful, JSON : API, GraphQL, Headless & decoupled use).

Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

Experience with data migration, transformation, and scripting

Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies.

Prior experience with Digital accessibility (WCAG)
