Your key responsibilities will be the following :
Grants funding applications :
- Researching, preparing, and drafting technical applications, business plans, project timelines, and feasibility assessments
- Sourcing and analyze information using a variety of platforms including but not limited to online sources, market reports and client provided information
- Performing technical research to support projects
- Drafting through leadership content
- Strong communications written and verbal to gain the information required to submit applications
Client management :
Leading client meetings to understand their specific funding needsWorking cross-functionally with Sales to conduct analysis on the clients proposed project and investmentPreparing presentations and executive summaries resulting from kickoff meetingsTracking the progression of client projects and ensuring compliance reporting is completed in a timely mannerWhat would be the skills, qualifications and interests of a successful candidate?
Agronomy or Agri-Science degreePrior experience in farming or ranching is an assetPrior experience in agronomyPrior experience in animal wellnessExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishResults driven individual who is confident present to C-level executivesMust possess valid drivers licenseMust be open to overnight travelA passion for technical writingAn interest towards the understanding of science, technology, and manufacturing processesAbility to create, edit and organize technical documentationStrong analytical skills and ability to grasp new conceptsStrong attention to detailSkilled in time managementExperience interacting with government funding agencies or relevant experienceExperience and understanding of sustainability and emissions reduction funding opportunities offered through the USDAExperience working with or preparing applications for the USDAExperience interacting with government funding agencies or relevant experienceWhy work here?
