Quality Engineer

Your responsibilities
- Lead the design, evolution, and maintenance of the Product Quality Framework (PQF) for Oral Nicotine Delivery (OND), ensuring it meets strategic, regulatory, and operational requirements across the product lifecycle—through risk-based quality criteria, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with global standards (e.g. FDA, EUTPD, ISO, GMP).
- Accountable to implement the NGP Quality Management system (QMS) in manufacturing sites.
- Act as the second line of defence relating to the embedment of the NGP QMS for the factories of Imperial Brands OND products (including contract manufacturers). Liaise with NGP Operations and factory Quality Managers across Imperial Brands & contract manufacturers to support on identification of training needs.
- Manage escalated OND quality incidents and non-conformities, ensuring transparent documentation, data-driven analysis, and effective resolution through root cause investigations, CAPAs, and cross-site learning.
- Manage OND consumer complaint analysis by ensuring monthly monitoring of complaint and sell out data, performing trend analysis, initiating appropriate actions to react on trends and communicate critical trends to senior stakeholders within the business
- Manage team resources and capabilities to meet business requirements and strategic goals through capability reviews, people development, succession planning and people’s engagement.
Our requirements
Educational Background : Master’s degree in (applied) sciences or equivalent professional experience.Quality & Manufacturing Expertise : Strong knowledge of quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and quality control tools and techniques.Analytical & Technical Skills : Excellent analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify gaps, and apply insights practically.Communication & Collaboration : Strong communicator across all organizational levels with intercultural awareness and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.Language & Digital Proficiency : Fluent in English (written and verbal) with advanced MS Office skills.Work Ethic : Able to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement.What we offer
