Purpose of the job / Relations :

As an SAP Data Warehousing & Analytics Specialist at DSV, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation, support, development, testing, and change processes related to our SAP BW / 4HANA, SAP HANA, Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud landscape.

You will work closely with other SAP specialists and architects especially within data warehousing and analytics. Furhermore, you will be working with business users, project managers, IT architects and other IT team members to understand the business requirements and develop compliant solutions, that are aligned with business and IT standards and strategies

Responsibility : Support

Provide day-to-day support for SAP BW / 4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office and SAP HANA modeling systems, addressing user issues and ensuring system stability

Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to the integration between SAP BW / 4HANA and SAC related to a setup based on the cloud connector and SAC live connectivity

Troubleshoot and resolve technical data load issues and functional issues in a timely manner to minimize business disruptions

Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and optimize existing processes

Perform system monitoring and take proactive measures to prevent and mitigate system issues

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, configurations, and issue resolutions

Development

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new SAP BW / 4HANA data models and ensuring efficient usage of the models in SAP Analytics Cloud and Analysis for Office

Design, develop, and maintain virtual data models in SAP BW / 4HANA, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and efficiency

Develop BW queries based on composite providers for data reconciliation and financial reports

Develop basic stories and visualizations in SAP Analytics Cloud to help business users get the most out of the data models in SAP BW / 4HANA

Implement data integration solutions to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems including SAP Group Reporting, SAP S4 ERP, SAP S4 MDG and files into SAP BW / 4HANA

Create and maintain data transformation logic, data extracts, and data provisioning based on SAP HANA SQLscript and standard BW / 4HANA transformations

Create virtual logic in BW / 4HANA composite providers and HANA calculation views

Build CDS views in SAP S4 to extract data using change data capture (CDC) and enhance SAPI extractors for legacy loads

Coordinate with SAP BASIS and SAP Authorization team in relation to technical tasks as well as role development in BW / 4HANA

Provide clear and detailed technical and functional documentation

Contribute with ideas and proactively seek new opportunities and solutions

Testing

Develop and execute tests for SAP BW / 4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing

Identify and rectify defects and issues discovered during the testing phases

Ensure data quality and accuracy by validating data transformations and data loads

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful testing and deployment of SAP solutions

Change Processes

Participate in change management processes, including creating change requests, doing impact analysis, and coordination of changes with relevant stakeholders

Support the deployment of SAP system updates, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions by coordinating with our other SAP professionals

Collaborate with project teams to assess and implement requested changes and enhancements

Our requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or related field (Master's degree preferred)

5-10 years of experience in SAP BW

SAP BW / 4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP HANA modeling certification is a requirement

Proven experience in SAP BW / 4HANA development and administration

Experience with extraction of SAP S4 finance data including data domains such as Group Reporting and Universal Journal

Experience with building CDS views for data extraction

Experience with data integration in BW / 4HANA for SAP and non-SAP sources including the usage of streaming process chains and SAP HANA SDI adapters

Strong proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud configuration, administration, and connectivity

Experience with SAP HANA modeling on BW / 4HANA data and SQL scripting including building HANA artifacts such as calculation views and table functions

Proficiency on the BW / 4HANA analytic engine as well as building BW queries, customer exists and composite providers

Experience with BW / 4HANA ETL processes and data integration for both SAP and non-SAP sources

Knowledge on ABAP as well as HANA SQLscript
